Ian provides outstanding operational expertise to the company and wider Hilton-Baird Group to ensure our clients are benefiting from the best service possible. Whilst managing the business’s day-to-day activity, he has been instrumental in developing and launching our bespoke collections system. He is also qualified to Certified Forensic Investigation Practitioner standard.

Jocelyn has an extensive background in the asset based finance sector, having held a number of leadership, relationship management and risk positions at Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance, Bibby Financial Services and Sonovate prior to joining Hilton-Baird. Having been in the industry for over 20 years, Jocelyn has particular expertise in invoice and trade finance and manages the day-to-day running of our collections team on behalf of our ABL and insolvency clients.

Jessica joined Hilton-Baird Collection Services in 2023 to oversee the management and performance of our collections team. With nine years’ experience of working within the asset based finance industry in client manager, relationship manager and collections roles, she understands the challenges which impact the collectability of ledgers, a specialist in dealing with common issues relating to contractual debt, and how to maximise collections. Having also held sales and customer service roles in the retail and utilities sectors, Jessica is well placed to support our clients and share her knowledge and experience with the team.

With wide ranging experience in commercial finance, Joanna is well placed to support our clients in her role as Collections Manager. Having previously worked within the asset based finance industry in both new business and operational roles, she possesses a solid knowledge of the sector as a whole, as well as the wide ranging complexities of debt recovery. Joanna’s interpersonal and organisational skills mean she is able to effectively motivate and guide the collections team to maximise recoveries, delivering exceptional service for our clients.

Chloe works within our asset-based lending collections team as a senior advisor, and as part of her responsibilities she coaches and mentors team members. She possesses strong communication skills honed during her time in varied customer service roles. In her last position, she ensured timely collection of invoices through effective and efficient credit control processes. Chloe is tenacious and meticulous which makes her ideally suited to maximise recoveries on behalf of our ABL clients.

Kelly is a senior member of our collections team and, alongside her role recovering balances on behalf of our ABL clients, she coaches and mentors team members. Her previous role working as a credit controller for Hampshire County Council means she has a solid understanding of all aspects of credit management. Her efficient, knowledgeable and dedicated approach enables her to excel in the provision of accurate ledger profiling for our clients.

Verifications Team Leader

Luke has been at the core of our outsourced debt verification service to lenders and advisers since joining Hilton-Baird in 2015. As Verifications Team Leader, he combines his time completing our larger, more complex debt verification instructions with providing operational, training and administrative support to our Verifications Advisors. Prior to joining Hilton-Baird, Luke spent six years working in credit control and debt recovery for a consumer finance company.

Danielle's experience in receivables management and collections, gained from her previous role in receivables management in New Zealand, enables her to excel in providing our services to our asset-based finance clients. Since joining as Collections Advisor in 2019, Danielle has proved an invaluable part of Hilton-Baird’s ABL team, largely due to her excellent communication and customer services skills, gleaned during her time within public sector customer service roles over many years.

Jessica is part of our team which is dedicated to supporting our ABL clients with their collections instructions. With five years’ invoice finance experience prior to joining Hilton-Baird, gained in a collateral controller role which involved carrying out new client take-ons and terminations, Jessica has a strong understanding of the challenges affecting the recovery potential of sales ledgers and excels at maximising returns for our clients.

Mike has close to a decade’s experience in the debt collection arena, which serves him well in his day-to-day role working on the ledgers of our SME clients. Mike joined us from an Insolvency Practitioner, where he was tasked with recovering directors’ personal guarantees, and he has previously worked at Winchester County Council and HM Revenue & Customs, where he honed his consumer debt recovery experience. With strong communication skills he has achieved excellent results since joining the company.

Midia provides invaluable support to the Hilton-Baird Collection Services team, heading up our administration function which underpins the work of our Collections Advisors. Midia’s exceptional organisational and communication skills were gained in various administrative support roles, latterly in her time working for an Asset Finance business. Fluent in multiple languages, Midia also supports the collections team with interactions with overseas debtors.

Courtney provides important administrative support to the collections team and wider business, from loading instructions to filing and retrieving paperwork the team relies on when liaising with our clients’ customers. With nine years’ accountancy experience gained prior to joining Hilton-Baird, her background spans cash flow management, accounts payable and reconciliations.

By providing vital administrative support across the business, our team of Collections Advisors are equipped to maximise their time on the phones recovering payment on behalf of our clients.

Hannah joined the team in 2023 and manages the company’s billing. Prior to joining Hilton-Baird, she worked as a Graduate Financial Auditor and, latterly, as a self-employed Accounts Payable Audit Manager, using her range of finance and analytical skills to review businesses’ accounts in order to identify errors and areas for improvement.

With extensive experience within the asset based finance sector and possessing a degree in European Business Studies and a post graduate diploma in marketing, Helen has successfully co-ordinated the Hilton-Baird Group’s marketing strategy since joining the company in 2006. Overseeing the communication of key messages to all stakeholders via a wide range of channels, Helen is focused on increasing awareness of the services provided by the companies within the group to assist SMEs, corporates and asset based lenders with their varied needs.

Possessing a degree in Journalism, Jamie has supported the Hilton-Baird Group of companies across all aspects of marketing since joining the company in 2007. Working closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager, Jamie oversees the day-to-day running of the Group’s IT development and digital marketing channels.
